What do I need to bring to school?
We expect you to bring your current reading book and yellow reading record into school everyday. Once you have had an adult at home to sign your reading record, you can change your book. This will probably be weekly or fortnightly depending on the length of the book. You are responsible for your independent reading, so we will be checking regularly for those 'Reading Champions' and rewarding on a weekly basis those of you who are putting in an extra effort to read both in and out of school.
You will need to bring a water bottle each day, which can be refilled from our chilled water machine. Please make sure yours is named or easily recognisable (we do have some people with the same design!) and taken home each night to be washed.
Homework will consist of a English task, a maths task and spelling practice. All the information for each task will be given out each Thursday and will need to be completed by the following Wednesday.
